After beating Augsburg 1-0 over two legs, Liverpool have drawn Manchester United as their opponent for the Europa League round of 16. The first leg of the round will take place on March 10, while the return leg is set for March 17.
This draw is big for fans skeptical about the meaning behind a Europa Leauge run -- now the Reds will get two more cracks against Manchester United this season. Their rivals sit in fifth place in the Premier League and narrowly escaped against FC Midtjylland to get to this stage of the tournament.
With several top-caliber clubs still in the running, the match-up with Manchester United isn't even that harsh of a draw. Elsewhere, Borussia Dortmund will face Tottenham and Villarreal take on Bayer Leverkusen.
