Klopp "Not Satisfied" With Europa Result

Liverpool travelled to Germany to face Augsburg in the Europa League round of 32 in search of a result that would allow the team to rest key players in the second leg.

But due to a slow start and missed chances, the Reds failed to accomplish their goal and will return to Anfield with much work left to do. Manager Jürgen Klopp was not pleased with the way his team looked, especially after Liverpool played so well in a 6-0 thrashing of Aston Villa.

Klopp said pressing and midfield play were clear weak points for the team.

"We should be realistic about the result, that's OK in a European away game," Klopp said. "We could have scored goals but as a performance I am not satisfied."

"We fight for consistency and played like this in the game, but we always let them come back in the game and that's not necessary. I'm not 100 percent happy about this game."

Klopp added a classic line to summarize his thoughts: "I have to be patient, but I'm not a patient man, not really. My feeling is we could have done better."

Liverpool face Augsburg in the second leg next Thursday at Anfield and have the weekend off to prepare.
