James Milner: Jürgen Klopp is a "Top Manager"

James Milner was brought in from Manchester City two summers ago with the idea that he would excel in the central midfield for Liverpool. Instead, he's been an in-form left back for the Reds this season under manager Jürgen Klopp.

Even though that role disappointed him at first, he's become a big fan of Klopp's managerial style.

"Jürgen is a top manager," Milner said (via the Echo). "Definitely up there with one of the best I've worked with. His organization, his passion. The sessions he does are different to anything else I've ever experienced."

"You see his enthusiasm when he's bouncing on the touchline. The only thing you might say is ‘sometimes is he too emotional at times?'" he added.

Milner also commented on the way that Klopp has built up Liverpool's squad in just one year to be a legitimate top-four contending unit.

"Just look at the lads we had on the bench against Swansea and the other lads who didn't even make the bench, Milner said. "That shows the quality we have at the club. Look at how young the squad is. I'm only 30 and I'm pretty much one of the oldest. That's disappointing for me! But it's pleasing when you look at the youth and the potential here."
