According to reports in England and Germany, Jürgen Klopp has agreed to a three-year deal to become the next manager of Liverpool Football Club. He is now on his way to Liverpool where he will put pen to paper before being unveiled to the press tomorrow.
Talks were completed this morning, and Klopp as well as longtime assistants Zeljko Buvac and Peter Krawietz are set to officially join the club over the next 24 hours. Though Klopp's first press conference as Liverpool manager will come tomorrow, the club could still make an official announcement later today.
Sky Germany broke the news that a deal was done earlier today, with the Liverpool Echo following up shortly with confirmation from their sources within the club. Klopp is expected to meet with the club's current coaches and upper management later today, then with the players not on international duty tomorrow.
After being unveiled, he will get a week to settle in and oversee training before his first game in charge, at White Hart Lane against Tottenham in the early kickoff on October 17th.
