WORLD CUP 2018 | SEMI-FINALS
France vs. Belgium | 7PM BST/2PM EST
Another big World Cup match goes up against Liverpool’s pre-season, but this time at least it’s not England playing at the same time—though it was meant to be until the club’s friendly against Tranmere was moved up by a day.
And there’s no getting past the fact that this one is a very big game, with pre-tournament favourites France taking on a Belgium that has managed to meet expectations at a major tournament for the first time in recent memory. Plus it kicks off about thirty minutes ahead of the Liverpool match so even if you want to focus on that one rather than multi-tasking you should be able to catch a bit of it before that and then at the half.
Then, tomorrow, Jordan Henderson and England will take on Dejan Lovren and Croatia for the chance to face the winner tonight in the final, so whatever does happen here, you should probably prepare yourself for a lot of coming home talk over the next 24 hours.
