WORLD CUP 2018 | DAY TWO
Egypt vs. Uruguay | 1PM BST/8AM EST
Morocco vs. Iran | 4PM BST/11AM EST
Portugal vs. Spain | 7PM/2PM EST
The second day of World Cup 2018 brings us some exciting pairings and kicks off with Mohamed Salah—expected to at least be fit enough to make the bench—and Egypt taking on ex-Liverpool star Luis Suarez and Uruguay. The South Americans will be looking to establish themselves as group favourites with a win here while Egypt will be looking for any kind of a result as they target second in Group A.
Afterwards, it’s on to Group B action, starting with an intriguing pairing of potential dark horse teams—an Iran that was Asia’s best nation in qualifying and a young and exciting Morocco that could catch people by surprise. Then, it’s the headliners facing off as Spain—following a tumultuous few days—Portugal close out day two.
