If you’re trying to figure out which Liverpool players are involved in internationals over the next few days, we’ve got you covered. The first round of September games sees Liverpool interest in England’s senior and U21 squads, as they take on San Marino and the United States respectively, plus a possible senior debut for Emre Can, a top of the group clash between Slovakia and Spain, and a Brazil friendly.

The match on Thursday likely to have the most Liverpool involvement doesn’t matter, but for those looking to keep track of the Reds off on international duty, England’s U21s taking on the United States is the pick, with Jordon Ibe and Joe Gomez both likely to start in the friendly.

For Belgium, Christian Benteke is out with a thigh injury and Simon Mignolet is going to be watching from the bench. Divock Origi has been called up despite a lack of recent playing time and is likely to be on the bench alongside Mignolet. Still, if you’re looking for an excuse to watch Belgium, the Liverpool links are there.

With Sakho left off the France squad, the only Friday match with a Liverpool interest is Germany's, where Emre Can is likely to start on the bench—but is tipped to have a shot coming on as a substitute—following his first call-up to Germany's senior side.

With injuries to Daniel Sturridge and Jordan Henderson, Liverpool’s representation on the senior England side is down to two. It’s a chance to watch Nathaniel Clyne and James Milner, though, in a qualifying match that should be easy and enjoyable for those with England sympathies.

More intriguing for the footballing neutral is Slovakia taking on Spain. In October of 2014, Slovakia upset the Spanish 2-1, with Martin Skrtel putting in a dominant performance. Now, they travel to Oviedo for the rematch, with Slovakia the only perfect side in Group C and Spain’s only blemish the previous loss to them.

For the night-cap, following Philippe Coutinho’s Brazil recall, Liverpool will now have two in the squad to keep an eye on as he and Roberto Firmino face Costa Rica in a friendly being held in the New York area.
