BURNLEY VS LIVERPOOL

| Wednesday, May 19th |
Premier League | Turf Moor
8:15 PM BST/3:15 PM EST

The bad news: Chelsea’s narrow win over Leicester City last night was the worst possible result for the Reds. The good? Earning Champions League qualification is still very much in Liverpool’s hands. Or feet. Or maybe Alisson’s big, beautiful head. To do so, the Reds need to continue exorcising the demons of Premier League seasons past, and find a way to win the last two matches.

Of course, they can’t win the last two matches without winning the first. Although Burnley got worked over 4-0 by Leeds United on the weekend, it’s unlikely that they’ll be as keen to roll over for belly rubs this time around. In fact, it’s likely to be quite the miserable game. Still, goal differential might come into play in the final standings, so a big win over Sean Dyche’s big grocks would be very much appreciated.

It’s up to the lads to make sure that Alisson’s heroics actually mean something. Two wins. Six points. Starting tonight.
