WEST BROM VS. LIVERPOOL
| Sunday, May 16th|
Premier League | The Hawthorns
3:30PM GMT / 11:30AM EST
Liverpool faces off against West Brom at the Hawthorns in our 36th game of the season, with West Brom currently 19th in the league table and were relegated last week. On Liverpool’s injury list are Ozan Kabak, James Milner, Naby Keita, Jordan Henderson, Joel Matip, Virgil Van Dijk and Joe Gomez. But we could see Sadio Mane back in the front three, and a Curtis Jones midfield appearance. [Update: It seems that Diogo Jota is ruled out as well due to an unspecified foot injury picked up against Manchester United.]
West Brom have Robert Snodgrass and Branislav Ivanovic unavailable. Loanee Ainsley Maitland-Niles is fit to play.
This clash is key for Liverpool in the fight for European football of any sort next season, and the win against Manchester United earlier this week will hopefully have injected fresh spirits into a team that’s looked worn out in recent weeks.
