With Liverpool top four long shots in the Premier League, Friday’s draw for the Champions League quarter finals could be key to their hopes of qualifying for next season’s edition of Europe’s top cup competition—by way of winning number seven in Istanbul this season.
Currently, FiveThirtyEight list Jürgen Klopp’s Reds as having a 25% chance of making the 2021 final, but that number—and betting lines around the world—could change drastically depending on Friday’s draw depending on if they get favourites Manchester City, presumed no-chancers Porto, or another club in the middle of the pack.
Ahead of the draw, though, we want to know who you would pick for Liverpool to face in the quarter finals. Do you want a Porto side most rate last, or do you think the Reds match up better with Borussia Dortmund, perennial European underachievers PSG, or a Real Madrid side short of their best?

We also want to know who you’d most like to avoid. Man City may be the obvious answer, but based on past results there’s always a chance Pep Guardiola overthinks things if he has to face Liverpool in Europe, while Bayern Munich and Chelsea are both looking dangerous.

Then, finally and for fun, we want to know who you think Liverpool will face—or who you think UEFA might most like to see them paired with. Not that we’d ever suggest these draws are rigged in any way.
