This season hasn’t been great. There are times (like this weekend) where everything about being a Liverpool fan has been frustrating and painful. With Jordan Henderson going down in the middle of the Merseyside derby and waiting (once again) for news on how long someone who currently plays in defense will be out for, it’s high time we focus on the few positives we have here.
The fact that both Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez are well on their way to a complete recovery—and the fact that we can see the progress they’ve made—is excellent. The fact that we get a reprieve from trying to make sense of what’s happening on the pitch with a video of Joe and Virgil hamming it up at Kirkby is even better.
So here’s two minutes of pure serotonin to start your day with. Hopefully it’s a good reminder that there is in fact a golden sky at the end of a storm.
