The talking heads can keep on dissecting Liverpool’s deadline day transfer business all they want. The club left it to the last minute to finally get some cover in the area where there were zero (ZERO) senior players available. The Reds have been playing defense on their depleted defense all season, and they finally hit the breaking point at the end of this month, following injuries to Fabinho and Joel Matip.
First was Ben Davies, the unlikely player coming from Preston North End and signing a long term contract with the club. After that was Ozan Kabak from Schalke, who came on loan with the option to buy next season.
It was enough to make everyone’s heads spin and our lungs expel the breath we’ve all been collectively holding as we hoped for relief for the back line.
Liverpool’s business was the biggest news on deadline, but never mind all of them, because we’ve heard the opinion of the only person who really even matters.
"Sometimes you don't see these deals to Liverpool but it is a great opportunity, I look forward to seeing them play"

Reds fan favorite Dirk Kuyt showed off his slick, neat hair style as he chimed in about Liverpool’s deadline day business.
He admits that these signings may not be something Liverpool would have considered in a normal transfer window. However, given the situation, he’s excited to see what they can contribute to the team.
He won’t have to wait long to find out. Klopp will need their services as soon as Wednesday when they take on Brighton in their next Premier League match. Liverpool have pulled themselves out of a disappointing winter slump and notched two good wins in a row. They’ll be desperate to continue that run, and so 48 hours after traveling to Merseyside, one or both of the new recruits may be lacing up their boots to jump right in.
