SOUTHAMPTON VS LIVERPOOL

| Saturday, March 3rd |
Premier League | St. Mary’s
8PM GMT/3PM EST

Liverpool have a chance to go 3 points clear of Manchester United at the top of the table tonight, and gosh darnit, they should do that. Especially, you know, with the game in hand and all that jazz. The Reds will be coming up against a good Southampton side, and Liverpool’s away form—spare the 7-0 thrashing of Crystal Palace—has been less than stellar.

Initially, Southampton appeared to be one of the surprise teams that might just be competing for a European spot this season, but the Saints have slipped to 9th in the congested top half of the table. It likely won’t be an easy one for the Reds, but one they should win. Which this season means: literally no score lines would be a surprise.
