LIVERPOOL VS. MANCHESTER UNITED
| Sunday, January 17th |
Premier League | Anfield
4:30PM GMT / 11:30AM EST
Liverpool faces off against Manchester United in a Northwestern derby that is seemingly more high stakes than others of recent past. The Reds sit third on the league table, while United are first (Leicester inched second with an extra game played), and a win today would set the tone for Liverpool’s resilience through the rest of the season as other top clubs play musical chairs with the top few spots.
On Liverpool’s still lengthy injury list are Diogo Jota, Naby Keita, Virgil Van Dijk and Joe Gomez. Rumours of Joel Matip’s possible inclusion in the squad following his injury have been floated, but only the final line-up will tell.
United have no key players injured at the moment.
