Liverpool faces off against Chelsea in our second game of the 2020-21 season today. Coming off of the high of this week’s transfer activity, the Reds will approach today’s fixture with the goal of putting up a strong fight. Chelsea’s activity in the summer transfer market made headlines, with the arrival of Timo Werner and Kai Havertz from Germany, and Hakim Ziyech from the Netherlands.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Xherdan Shaqiri feature on the injury list for Liverpool. For Chelsea, Christian Pulisic, as well as new signings Hakim Ziyech, Ben Chilwell and Thiago Silva are among the squad members to sit this game out.
