June 8th to 14th Open Thread: EJ What's the countdown?

Welcome to the Open Thread, your weekly dose of zany TLO randomness. Anything goes, within reason. We are still the champions of Europe and of the World.

The main page historically provides open threads on Saturdays and Sundays throughout the season, so feel free to participate in those while you follow along with all the exciting footballing action. I guess we've kind of taken over the weekend Open Thread duties most weekends so hang out here if you wish.

I think the Open Thread is sustainable with nothing from up here from me, but if you'd like to mix it up with a theme or poll, just drop an idea in a comment.

Like your fellow TLOers? Like music? Of course you do! Check out this handy TLO Music Recommendations Spreadsheet, courtesy of Cruyff Turns Anonymous. You can find suggestions from TLOers and add suggestions of your own, anonymously if you so choose. Happy listening!

You read, right? I know you do because you're reading this. Read books that people on TLO like. How would you know what books people on TLO like?
