As the calls for social equality get louder in the wake of the Black Lives Matter protests, some football players have put together their own video to show their support for the movement.
The campaign, spearheaded by former Red Raheem Sterling, also includes Jordan Henderson and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain raising their voices against racism.
You can watch the video in Raheem Sterling’s tweet here.

‘We are tired’ the one minute video says, of the violence being committed against black people. We are tired of needing to protest this treatment. We are tired of nothing ever changing.
Sterling launched this campaign on the eve of the Premier League restart, and it features plenty of faces that English football fans will be familiar with. The campaign highlights the inequity in the highest positions of power in the FA and other English athletic associations.
It will be interesting to see what might happen in the coming days as the Premier League comes back and the players once again get the spotlight placed firmly on them.
