It feels like just yesterday we were watching an awkward kid with a buzz cut running around the Anfield pitch. That kid would grow up to lift the European Cup in the most dramatic fashion and would end up being a Liverpool legend. That kid is Steven Gerrard, who turns 40 years old today.
