One of my favorite mantras as a professional is to begin training your replacement right away. It’s important for the health and life of any organization to invest time and energy in training and empowering the youth.

Earlier this week, Liverpool FC’s Christie Murray did just that by spending some time at a girl’s football camp organized by the LFC Foundation. Murray spent time interacting with the participants, answering questions in a Q&A session and guiding these next generation of the women’s game up.

She then took to the field to provide some hands-on instruction as she lead the players trough the paces. Providing a direct example of technique and drive while engaging in the days litany of scrimmages and drills.

Murray only had positive things to say about the day.

“It was great to come down and get involved in LFC Foundation’s girls’ football camp today. The girls have fantastic attitudes and it was great to see so many players of different abilities loving and playing the game!”

The official site indicated that there were approximately 80 participants on the day.
