CHELSEA VS LIVERPOOL
| Tuesday, March 3rd |
Premier League | Stamford Bridge
7:45PM GMT/2:45PM EST
What came first, the football or the misery? People worry about kids playing with guns, or watching violent videos, that some sort of culture of violence will take them over. Nobody worries about kids watching thousands, literally thousands of football matches that end in heartbreak, rejection, pain, misery, and loss. Did I watch football because I was miserable? Or was I miserable because I watched football?
Anyway, there’s a football match today. Against Chelsea. If Liverpool want to keep their hopes of more silverware alive, they’ll need to pick up a win tonight and/or next midweek. Preferably both. A win on the weekend would be nice as well, come to think of it. If the Reds want their season to end in a crescendo and not a whimper, playing their way out of their recent poor form—starting tonight—would help massively.
