The fallout around the news of the Premier League suspending matches continues to come. As we are all beginning to come to grips with the reality of life without Liverpool football for at least the immediate future, there’s more expected news on the way.

For example, the announcement from the club that they will voluntarily suspend all activity at Melwood. It makes sense: with no matches on the horizon, no reason to keep the facility open and invite more exposure. So, the club has stated that the first team squad and staff are officially suspending all activity at Melwood.

The announcement indicates that all of the prayers are going to be on individualized regimens to complete on their own. It also notes that the club will consult with officials to determine when to re-open the facility and resume normal operations should an announcement be made that the Premier League is resuming games.

The full announcement can be found here.
