Liverpool FC has had a torrid time with injuries this season. Now with Trent Alexander-Arnold out for 4 weeks, the club has been handed a potential boost with the imment returns of both Thiago Alcantara and Fabinho to the fold after this international break.

Based on reports from The Daily Mail and The Athletic, both men should be in contention to play against Leicester City when the Premier League resumes next Saturday. Thiago has had some rotten luck since joining the club that has limited him to just two appearances. He contracted COVID-19 after his debut against Chelsea, and wound up being on the receiving end of an x-rated Richarlison tackle that wasn’t even the worst challenge that day. He hasn’t played since the Merseyside Derby last month.

Fabinho hasn’t featured since sustaining a hamstring injury in the 2-1 win against FC Midtjylland two weeks ago. Fingers crossed for the both of them, we sure could use any warm bodies in the squad right now.
