Liverpool faces off against Aston Villa at today’s away game at Villa Park. Coming off of a busy week - beating Arsenal in the league, getting beaten by Arsenal in the Carabao Cup, and receiving the frightening news about COVID-19 striking a third first-team player, Liverpool sure could use a win tonight.

Dean Smith’s side have had a 100% winning start to the season, beating Sheffield United and Fulham, and will want to continue their form in their first game against a top six side.

On the injury list, it seems that Alisson Becker picked up an injury in training and will sit this game out while Adrian will fill in. Thiago and Sadio Mane are in isolation, recovering from COVID-19. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Joel Matip are still out injured as well. Trent Alexander-Arnold is available.

For Aston Villa, centre-back Engels returns from injury and is available tonight, while Tom Heaton and Wesley Moraes are still out of the running.
