That wasn’t the prettiest match by any stretch of the imagination, but it didn’t need to be. Liverpool are not so much concerned about wowing people as they are concerned with just getting the job done and winning. The captain Jordan Henderson put in a great shift. Mo Salah was fantastic throughout and the subs changed the game.
Now let us know how you saw it. We’ve narrowed the options down to a few of the players we thought were the better performers on the day for the Reds, so make your choice below and vote for who you think should be the man of the match—or take to the comments to let us know that we got it wrong by leaving the real man of the match out of the poll entirely.
And as always, a reminder that anyone visiting on Apple News or Google AMP who wishes to vote and can’t see the poll can make it visible by navigating to the front page of The Liverpool Offside and loading the full version of the story from there.
