The Spanish international was due to join Spain for the UEFA Nations League during the international break, but following a positive coronavirus test on September 29th, he immediately went into self isolation following the protocols put forward by the government. The 29th was 11 days ago, and the UK government says that self isolation needs to last for at least 11 days.
The midfield star, one of Liverpool’s newest signings, can rejoin training once a negative test for Covid-19 is produced. No official word from the club has been released about his conditions, but it’s certainly a good sign that he’s able to go out about on the town.
Sadio Mane also tested positive last week before the Aston Villa match. No news about his condition either.
