Certified bros Sadio Mané and Roberto Firmino entertained fans last month on Instagram with a bit of banter after the Reds beat Chelsea in the UEFA Super Cup.

Mané posted a picture of him celebrating his goal with a familiar move. Firmino responded by jokingly accusing his teammate of stealing his moves. Bobby is well known to love a good, weird goal celebration, and has cycled through plenty in his time at Anfield.

Recently, Mané discussed the celebration and got his own dig back at Firmino.

“Each player in this squad, if you want to keep this celebration as your own it’s quite difficult because we score quite a lot!” Mané declared.

“Bobby did that celebration two or three years ago, and I think he has had quite a few celebrations since. My celebration now is what I’m going to carry on doing throughout the year. I know that Bobby will be copying me again soon, you’ll see!”

Fans will be eager to see more entries in the Mané vs Firmino goal celebration wars as the season progresses. Many, many more entries.
