Liverpool close out their US preseason tour with a showdown against Sporting Lisbon (hopefully one with fewer red card challenges).

It has not exactly gone to plan so far: two losses in two, an injury to Yasser Larouci, players still away or slow to come back, and sweltering conditions have all put a damper on what should be a steady build up toward the 2019/20 campaign. However, a win on the third time of asking would at least be something positive from the trip, so hopefully the boys in Red can manage that today.

Aside from watching some (but still not all) of Liverpool’s stars, there will be an interest in watching Bruno Fernandes, who has been steadily linked with Liverpool over the years, including this summer. Will we sign him? Probably not. But we can dream, right?
