LIVERPOOL VS HUDDERSFIELD TOWN
| Friday, April 26th |
Premier League | Anfield
8PM BST/3PM EDT
While the fight for the top spot of the Premier has been in the balance all season, the bottom spot firmly belongs to Huddersfield Town, and has for quite some time. While Liverpool struggled to a 1-0 win last time these two teams faced off in October, the odds are heavily stacked against the visitors from getting anything this time around. In 22 league games since December 1st, Huddersfield have lost 20, drawn 1, and won 1. There’s bad. Then there’s relegation fodder. Then there’s one of the worst teams ever to be in the Premier League. This is all to say that Liverpool really shouldn’t be worried about tonight. The question shouldn’t be whether they get three points, but rather how much they can cut into Manchester City’s goal differential. Or, alternatively, how many players can Klopp rest for Barcelona, and still run out comfortable winners?
