PORTO VS LIVERPOOL

| Wednesday, April 17th |
Champions League | Estadio do Dragao
8PM BST/3PM EDT

How great is this season, that a Champions League quarterfinal second leg isn’t even the most anticipated game this week? While the fans might see this midweek fixture as a slight distraction, the players will no doubt be looking to advance to the semifinals for the second time in as many years. And the Reds are in a great position to do so, having kept Porto out at home, and taking a two-goal cushion to the Estadio do Dragao. Any win or draw will put Liverpool through. If the visitors manage to net a goal, the home side will need to win by three clear goals in regulation in order to advance. It was a professional and controlled home performance last week, and another similar showing should be more than enough to put this tie to bed.
