Liverpool’s 2020/2021 Third Kit Colour Scheme Leaked

I’m not convinced 2020 is a real year, but at least it’s a good pattern

We’re not even at Christmas yet, so naturally we should talk about kits for the upcoming season and dissect exactly what it means for our chances and our wallets. Let’s start off by talking about this current season. New Balance’s final year making questionable callbacks to much better kits in our history saw a boring classic red with stripes, an even more boring white kit, and a polarising black and seafoam green third kit with Windows 98 screensaver vibes.

Lucky for those of us who don’t want to think about Bill Gates when Liverpool play, New Balance lost their appeal to continue to make me, personally, sad and Nike will be producing our kits next season.

We already know we’re going to have a red home kit, but per FootyHeadlines, our away kit is going to be “hyper turquoise” demonstrating that the High Court was exactly right in their decision to take the kits away from New Balance and give them to Nike.

FootyHeadlines gave us even better news this weekend with a leak of what the third kit will look like, and it should make most of you ecstatic. We’re talking understated grey with a touch of pink just bright enough to make you smile.

The kit will probably be launched later than normal when the New Balance deal expires, so get ready to spend a tonne in June.
