LIVERPOOL WOMEN VS EVERTON WOMEN

| Saturday, March 3rd |
Premier League | Anfield
5:30PM GMT/12:30PM EST

The Merseyside Derby is exciting all on it’s own, but when it’s the first one played at Anfield by the women’s teams? That adds a whole other layer of excitement, and expectation. Liverpool face a strong Everton team while they themselves have never been worse off. the Reds sit in last place and will be hoping to use the historic power of Anfield to their advantage to get their first win of the season, whereas Everton can easily slide into fourth place if they secure three points today against their cross town (and cross the river?) rivals. The Blues are without their leading goal scorer — a disadvantage that Liverpool will need to exploit to get anything out of this.
