MANCHESTER CITY VS LIVERPOOL
| Thursday, January 3rd |
Premier League | Emptyhad
8PM GMT/3PM EST
It’s difficult to overstate the importance of this match. It’s a true six-pointer at the top of the table today. Amazingly, Liverpool have played their way to a seven-point lead over title rivals Manchester City (thanks in part to their December struggles). If you had offered Liverpool supporters a 4-point lead after playing City the second time before the season started, most would have snapped your hand off. That, of course, is the worst case scenario from tonight. But if Liverpool can keep City at bay, or better, snatch a win, it will go a long way toward securing that first league title in 29 years.
