TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR VS LIVERPOOL

| Saturday, September 15th |
Premier League | Wembley Stadium
12:30PM GMT/7:30AM EST

Matchday 5, and probably the most important match of the season so far. Liverpool’s first real test of their mettle, especially after this very same match last season became definitive for the trajectory of the season. The defeat last year at Wembley served as a very important turning point for Klopp’s Red men and surely the team must be looking to avoid that kind of humiliation once again. Dejan Lovren remains injured so that part of last year’s horror show is pretty easily avoided, but otherwise Liverpool should be in peak condition despite the international break and being the first match of the weekend. Tottenham are without Dele Alli and keeper Hugo Lloris so that should play into the Reds’ favor as well. It’ll definitely be a frantic, high pressing battle though, and the perfect taster for the rest of the frenetic month ahead.
