Liverpool look to bounce back from a disappointing 3-1 defeat in El Kloppico against a team they had some of their biggest wins (and single biggest defeat) against last campaign: Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City. The nailed-on first-string attacking duo of Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah are likely to return to feature for the first time this preseason, as is newboy Xherdan Shaqiri.

The Dortmund match represented the half-way point in Liverpool’s 9-match preseason. With 4 matches left to play, it will be interesting to see if Kloppo starts giving his starting(ish) XI longer run-outs, or if he will continue to make full changes at the half.
