BLACKBURN ROVERS VS LIVERPOOL

| Thursday, July 19th |
Pre-Season | Ewood Park
7:45PM BST/2:45PM EST

Liverpool are once again expected to field two completely changed sides, one for each half. A notable omission will be Danny Ward, who most expected to be the new deputy to the incoming Alisson. However, Ward has been withheld because of sudden interest from Leicester City. Additionally, the other Danny, Ings, is out from a minor ankle injury, as is Georginio Wijnaldum from a minor muscle strain. Many of the biggest stars—Roberto Firmino, Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, Jordan Henderson, among others—are still out after their World Cup exertions.

Blackburn, now back in the Championship, represents a significant step up in competition from the non-League and League Two sides faced so far in pre-season. It will be Liverpool’s last domestic pre-season test before traveling to the US to participate in the International Champions Cup.
