The Premier League season is coming to a close once more and Liverpool are not in a position to let points go - as per usual. Now that we know the next, and final, Champions League match is a few weeks away and with plenty of rest time for the squad, there’s no excuse for Jürgen Klopp not to field his strongest squad at Stamford Bridge against 5th place Chelsea. Granted, that strongest squad is plagued by injuries right now and Liverpool are basically limping to the finish line of the season, but with single points separating us, Spurs, and Chelsea, there’s very little margin for error. Chelsea, of course, might be looking for the same or simply a reason to get rid of Antonio Conte at the end of the season (despite winning the league last season). Liverpool absolutely need the win if they want to secure a Champions League place next season (barring a win in the final, HA).
