LIVERPOOL VS BOURNEMOUTH
| Saturday, March 3rd |
Premier League | Anfield
5:30PM GMT/12:30PM EST
Riding high on the back of dual Champions League quarterfinal wins, Liverpool meet Bournemouth on home turf. The Cherries, to their credit, are solidly midtable at this point, sitting comfortably in eleventh place while Liverpool are holding and tied at third with Tottenham. A win against Eddie Howe’s men would send them within one point of second place, whereas a win for Bournemouth would see them tie with Everton and we’d only want them to go over our bitter neighbors, right? All This to say that the top four is all but wrapped up at this point and every game is almost a formality unless there’s some epic collapse that put Liverpool hilariously in first. Look for the usual starters, especially Jordan Henderson who missed out on the midweek action due to a yellow card ban (go figure), and maybe a rogue Jordon Ibe to maybe do something at his old home ground to try and get that desperate Klopp hug we all know he misses.
