Steven Gerrard, former Liverpool captain, returns to his old stomping grounds to give a tour of Melwood and see some old familiar faces. It’s an entertaining look behind the scenes, courtesy of the official website and BetVictor.

The best part, by far, is the return of the fan favorite kitchen staff members, Carol and Caroline. Previously, these two stars have been lavished with praise from the likes of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and even the departed Luis Suarez.

In this video, Gerrard walks into the kitchen and asks which one of them will give him a cuddle first. Hey, if he’s still taking volunteers...

There’s a sweet interview with the three of them as they talk about the atmosphere and camaraderie between players and staff. Gerrard points out that he was at Melwood every day from the age of 16 to the age of 35, and, according to him, it’s the people like Carol and Caroline that he missed when he finally left for Los Angeles.

The video then brings in Klopp and he reminisces about his first time walking into Melwood and meeting the staff as well.

It’s an entertaining and uplifting video that provides a nice distraction as the majority of the players are off playing for their national teams.
