The Month in Liverpool Search Terms: Jürgen Klopp’s Life

People find their way to TLO using all kinds of search terms. Some of them can seem a little strange, unusual, or just in need of an answer. Others seem to have nothing at all to do with Liverpool. Occasionally they’re borderline workplace-appropriate. Here are a few of them.

Apparently it’s a name used in a common figure of speech. Like you want to say somebody did something fast, it’d be, “So then the cooked those eggs faster than Jack Robinson!” Or, “She hammered that nail in faster than Jack Robinson!”

But also probably it wouldn’t be one of those particular things and also I’ve never heard that figure of speech in my life before now so, yeah, you learn something new every day. Oh and also Jack Robinson was a once-promising Liverpool prospect who got a lost in the shuffle, headed out on loan a few times, and is now plying his trade with Nottingham Forest.

That’d have to be Tottenham, wouldn’t it?

Seems alright, all things considered. I mean, I’m sure it can get stressful and at times the lack of anonymity in public could get tiring but, well, I doubt he’d complain about how it’s gone on the balance.

Apparently he just had a concert at the Xcel Energy Center which is apparently in Saint Paul (not Minneapolis), Minnesota and apparently it was part of a double bill with Cyndi Lauper and apparently she was pretty good but he was kinda shit and I’d say you should’ve maybe just Googled “rod stewart latest news” to find that out but then it looks like you already did that and somehow ended up here so…
