SUNDAY, JANUARY 14th

The last time Liverpool met City, they conceded five goals and Sadio Mané got that red card after accidentally ninja-kicking their ‘keeper in the face. It was not the finest moment for the Reds and ever since then they have gone onto play a seventeen match unbeaten streak and well, City has gone on to all but win the League. Their incredible run has thrown much of the season out of whack for everyone else, but that isn’t to discount the good that Liverpool have done so far. This is also set to be the first post-Coutinho match and they’ll have twice as much to prove as Pep’s swaggering champions. There’s still three other places to play for, after all, and this match is at fortress Anfield.
