Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp got some good news on the fitness front today as Mohamed Salah returned to training with his teammates with plenty of time for the star winger to get up to speed now before the Reds face Manchester City in the league on Sunday afternoon.

Salah was joined by Daniel Sturridge, as the striker—who is expected to be sold this month with the player determined to move in search of playing time—also made a return. Salah has been out since the new year with a groin strain while Sturridge has been struggling with a hamstring issue.

There was no sign in training of Jordan Henderson or Alberto Moreno, though both players are nearing returns and could be back in training ahead of the City match. At this stage, though, neither would likely play a part in the game even if they were fit enough to train before then.

After the City match, Liverpool travel to face Swansea in the league on the following Monday before hosting West Brom in the FA Cup, with that tie now set for a 3PM kickoff on Saturday the 27th.
