Liverpool will play the third round tie away to Leicester City on Monday, September 18th. Perhaps it would be easier to bring a few extra changes of clothes, instead of returning all the way to Merseyside, because Liverpool will return to King Power Stadium on Saturday, September 23rd for Premier League action. That said, it is safe to assume that the Reds will likely play a heavily changed side for League Cup action, despite the Premier League opponent.
