It seems like just yesterday that Liverpool supporters collectively exhaled in relief after Gini Wijnaldum scored on the last day of the season to put the club back in the Champions League. Incredibly, the squad’s preparations for the 2017-18 season will begin in earnest tomorrow , and Liverpool have now released the names of the players who will be reporting for duty at Melwood. Those players are as follows:
Karius, Grabara, Gomez, Matip, Milner, Moreno, Randall, Alexander-Arnold, Henderson, Lucas, Stewart, Mané, Firmino, Chirivella, Kent, Flanagan, Sakho, Markovic, Clyne, Sturridge, Bogdan, Ings
The club have also indicated that new recruit Mohamed Salah will arrive later, as will the Reds who have been called up for international duty such as Lallana, Coutinho, Can, Wijnaldum, Mignolet, and Lovren.
Kamil Grabara is an interesting name to watch as Liverpool try to confirm who their number one goalkeeper will be in the near-future. Elsewhere, the reappearances of Jordan Henderson and Danny Ings will be a welcome sight after prolonged absences due to injuries.
