In case it wasn’t obvious, I can’t resist stories about Liverpool players and their cute kids.
Case in point: former Liverpool striker and current Demon King of La Liga Luis Suárez posted a video of his 3-year-old son Benjamin. While playing with his dad, the young’un decided to try his hand at being a goalkeeper. Young Master Suárez clearly has a knack for the game, as his father, the two-time European Golden Shoe reciprient, could scarcely get a shot past him.
After just coming up short in saving the first shot, Benjamin Suárez became a veritable brick wall in front of goal, smothering and deflecting some truly thundering strikes from his dad.
Later in the video, Benjamin tried his hand at attacking and scored a marvelous golazo.
Kid’s got a real future, I’m tellin’ ya.
(One of these days we should really put together a Kids Of Current/Former Liverpool Players XI.)
