Liverpool travel to The Hawthorns to face a squad led by a manager who has been a thorn in their side on more than one occasion. Tony Pulis’ West Bromwich Albion are currently eighth just behind Arsenal in the table (albeit at a double-digit remove from the Gunners), and are in a good place health and fitness-wise, at least relative to Liverpool (though to be fair, Fredo from The Godfather is in a better place health and fitness-wise relative to Liverpool).

After the recent excitement against Bournemouth and Stoke City, Jürgen Klopp’s merry men will be hoping for a fuss-free encounter, ideally one that ends with Liverpool coming away with three points. The race for top four spots is tighter than ever, and with a number of their rivals holding serve on Saturday, Liverpool can ill afford to drop points against a side that is practically built to exploit the soft spots in the Reds’ armor.
