I don’t know what happens when we die, and frankly, neither do you. I think it’s fair to say that, whatever happens (or doesn’t happen) in the hereafter, the life we have now is precious. Even if you believe in reincarnation, this is still the only life you’ll have as you. You know?
This is our one and precious life, and we only have so much time with it, and I think it’s incumbent on us to make it count as much as we’re able to.
Of course, we all spend a lot of our limited time passing through this vale of tears concerning ourselves with football. While I firmly believe that football is important and encompasses all the drama of everyday life, I can admit it’s a little silly to judge how anyone else spends their time when I’m obsessed with the particulars of grown men kicking a ball around a patch of grass.
And yet I do feel supremely confident in saying that if a well-known celebrity performer supporting a particular football club fills you with incandescent rage, it may be worthwhile to reevaluate your life choices.
With that, here is talkSPORT presenter Mike Parry taking to Twitter to vent his spleen over Daniel Craig, a longtime Liverpool fan, attending the Merseyside Derby earlier today. In the stands. At Anfield. Where other people can see him and where he can be photographed. Shameful, right?
Absolutely disgraceful that James Bond has come out as a Koppite .. 007 belongs to this nation .. not one football club .. any football club

People who are telling me that James Bond is a fictional character don't get it .. an icon of the world can't have favourites ..
— Mike Parry (@mikeparry8) April 1, 2017
Do you expect me to talk Goldfinger?
— Mike Parry (@mikeparry8) April 1, 2017
No Mr Bond .. I expect you to freeload your way into the Director's Box at Liverpool
Some of you don't get my point. Ian Fleming created James Bond. He never made him a Liverpool FC fan. Daniel Craig IS currently James Bond
— Mike Parry (@mikeparry8) April 1, 2017
Impressionable people see the current James Bond on-earth .. Daniel Craig .. endorsing Liverpool FC. Ian Fleming would not have allowed it
— Mike Parry (@mikeparry8) April 1, 2017
And by the way everybody .. @GNev2 has just vouched his support for my "James Bond's a Koppite is a disgrace" as I am sure will @fizzer18
— Mike Parry (@mikeparry8) April 1, 2017
.. no, but he has to not go public on it until he's NOT JAmes bond again .. https://t.co/PbiDovtNLT

So, celebrities aren’t allowed to express political opinions and now they can’t publicly express sports fandom. I suppose food preferences are next, right? Or maybe talking about how much they love cats will be a major faux pas? Maybe we should just pass a law saying celebrities can’t say anything about anything ever for risk of alienating people like Mike Parry.
It’s what Ian Fleming would’ve really wanted.
I have no regrets about my argument on Daniel Craig, James Bond and LFC as I'll explain on @TheTwoMikes on @talkSPORT tomorrow at 1pm #logic
