Liverpool travel over to the blue side of Manchester tomorrow to face off against City on their home turf, a match surrounded by drama. What is sure to be an entertaining game at the very least, much hangs in the balance of this matchup for our Reds. This may be their most important date as they attempt to dig in their heels and show they’re deserving of their top four spot, or even overtaking the team that sits on top of them. City, to their credit, are looking to do the same thing and are hoping to knock Liverpool off their perch and send them tumbling down the table. As it stands, City are one point ahead of Liverpool and a draw would see them both remain in their third and fourth spots. But if it can be helped, Liverpool need all the points they can get from all 10 matches left, including this one. Drama indeed.
