Mourinho Draws to Hull, Complains About Klopp

Liverpool’s favorite villain is back with another classic deflection.

With all Top 4 teams dropping points on Tuesday night, Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United had an excellent opportunity to join the pack of also-rans. Tottenham, Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester City are all separated by a single point. A win would have lifted United into the conversation, just two points back from the final Champion’s League spot.

United, however, did not take advantage, instead falling victim to a scoreless draw at home to bottom-dweller Hull City. During the match, Mourinho was clearly agitated at calls going against his side (yeah, sucks doesn’t it?) and afterwards explained his dissatisfaction with reporters.

"Don't ask me questions that I cannot answer,” Mourinho said in the post-match press conference. “You know clearly that I am different. The rules for me are different.

"I am different in everything, I watch my team play in a hotel, I was forbidden to go to the stadium, my assistant (Faria) had a six-match stadium ban and he didn't touch anyone.

"Yesterday one fourth official told to a manager, 'I enjoy very much your passion, so do what you want to do'.

"Today I was told, 'Sit down or I have to send you to the stands'. So everything is different for me."

Yeah. Well. Everyone likes Jürgen Klopp. And, well, not you? So, bad luck.

Mourinho then stormed out of the media room, having just answered three questions.

Now, note to Liverpool: please beat Hull, thus making this incident even funnier in retrospect.
