Watch: Liverpool Players Surprise Young Students For Christmas

Plus: bonus ugly Christmas jumpers

There’s a lot I like about being a football fan at Christmastime. One of them has to be all the videos showing players of my team doing nice things for kids.

To wit: some young students at St. Paul’s Junior School receiving a special holiday visit from Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Philippe Coutinho, and Roberto Firmino.

The kids were led to believe that they were participating in a school-wide activity in which they’d give interviews about their favorite players. Little did they know, of course, that a trio of Reds would show up in ugly Christmas jumpers (!!) to surprise them.

So look, it’s cute kids and Liverpool players. It doesn’t really need much explanation beyond that. If you’re into that sort of thing, this video does not disappoint. If you’re not into that sort of thing, you probably just hate joy and fun, and you’re beyond anyone’s help.

(Seriously though, those sweaters are truly something.)
