WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 13TH
Liverpool enter today’s match surprised to find themselves overtaken for the last Champions League spot by Burnley (of all teams). After weekend slip-ups from all the top sides except Manchester City, everyone should be out to gain maximum points midweek, and so too should Liverpool. Both West Brom and Alan Pardew have caused Liverpool problems in the past, and the Baggies will be desperate to get anything out of tonight’s match in order to get their heads above water in the drop zone. But with the Baggies only scoring 12 goals on the season so far, the home side should be able to comfortably see this side off with a few goals.
